Community involvement sends a powerful message to children. It’s one that says they children are important, they are loved and that they belong. For children, community involvement and engagement gives long term benefits in their lives and in their holistic development. It gives children a sense of belonging to the local community and is crucial to the building of their identity and self-esteem. Bonnybrook Early Education Centre has a long history of community involvement. Throughout over 40 years of service we have grown strong partnerships with parents and families which is reflected through the many generations of children who return to our service. Additionally, we have developed partnerships with other local services such as primary schools, Health Service Executive services, Coolock Library, Preparing for Life, Northside Partnership amongst others.  We will continue to endeavour to be an integral part of the community to support children, their families, and the local community.
