The Bonnybrook Early Education Centre will ensure that all staff and management have a good working knowledge of the Child Care Act (1991) and the Pre-School Regulations (2006).  We also undertake that there should be an awareness of other relevant regulations, national Aistear and Síolta frameworks and reports that may affect or enhance good practice. There is a commitment to ongoing training and development in Bonnybrook Early Education Centre in this regard.

We believe that quality early childhood education & care practice fosters:

• the development of communication skills.

• the development of fine and gross motor skills.

• A Parents Handbook.

• A Policy and Procedure Guide.

• Copies of relevant legislation, regulations, and information.

• A display of the Health & Safety Statement and Fire Drill Procedures.

• Child Safeguarding Statement and Children First National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children.
